About Us

We´ve been involved with llamas since 1988 and have kept llamas, guanacos (wild llamas) and alpacas.We keep a herd of male llamas, both castrates and entires, that run freely in small groups in our paddocks.

We have a special interest and expertise in the welfare of male llamas. This means that we keep no female llamas on our farm. Breeding farms need to keep their males in separate pens where they will not be able to fight. The smell of a nearby female llama causes uproar amongst the male contingency. We, therefore, don´t have that problem because we don´t have the girls to stay!

We have been re-homing llamas in need for many years and this service is not exclusive to males, because we find good homes for the females.
